The CFI Global Engagement Division (GECFI) is excited to announce its partnership with the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) to host the 2025 International STEM Summer Camp in Beijing. This camp is sponsored by BUCT and China’s Ministry of Education:

 

                             2025 BUCT International STEM Summer Camp  

                                        Beijing, China | June 8–21, 2025

 

A once-in-a-lifetime tuition-free summer program designed for outstanding high school students and College students with leadership skills passionate about science, culture, and global exchange!

Program Highlights (FREE for admitted students & one parent):

STEM Lectures from world-class scientists

• Hands-on Lab Experiments in state-of-the-art facilities

• Cultural Immersion: Chinese calligraphy, traditional festivals, and more

• Sightseeing Tours: Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace & more (all entrance fees included)

• Full Room & Board at BUCT international student dormitory

• Travel Insurance included for both student and accompanying parent if that applies

Eligibility:
✔ High school students (selected by merit, zoom interview by GECFI) 

✔ College Students with leadership skills (selected by merit, zoom interview by GECFI)

✔ GPA 3.0 or higher

✔ Strong interest in STEM fields preferred

Parents of admitted students may accompany their child at no additional tuition cost (meals, lodging, and all activities included).

 Costs Not Covered:
• $600 International Student Management Fee
• Round-trip international airfare (Scholarship is available for outstanding candidates who reside in the City of Blue Island)
• Visa application fee (if needed)
